Meet TJ Schuknecht, founder of Holzmacher Design LLC and a dedicated craftsman with deep roots in both faith and family. born in Kansas, raised in Texas and shaped by a childhood spent around his father’s work in commercial construction, TJ has spent over 20 years honing his craft in the carpentry industry. His journey began in a custom cabinet shop followed by an architectural millwork shop outside of Houston, TX and eventually led him to launch Holzmacher Design LLC—a company built on integrity, precision, and purpose.

A devoted Christian, TJ operates Holzmacher Design LLC faithfully, guided by the principles of honesty, stewardship, and service. The company’s name, Holzmacher—a German surname for "wood maker"—is a tribute to TJ’s heritage and the timeless tradition of German craftsmanship. It's a fitting name for a business located in the Texas Hill Country, a region known for its strong German roots and enduring appreciation for skilled trade.

TJ and his wife Nicci are proud parents to Emma, Taylor, Jason, and Ellison. With a focus on finish carpentry, custom cabinets, and handcrafted furniture, Holzmacher Design LLC  serves the greater San Antonio and Hill Country area with a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
